I came across this picture on social media, and it caught my attention. First because I love the way I feel when I am at the edge of the ocean’s waves on the beach. Second, because I have such a tendency to want to be much further along in life than wherever I am in the moment.
This beautiful picture reminds me that I am moving forward in many areas of my life. My life is very full. I work, I play, and I take actions to accomplish my goals, and live my dreams. Some of that movement may seem inconsequential. Yet, as long as I am moving forward, I am not moving backward.
I was walking this morning, and I noticed I got down on my self for not having the product line of the entire wellness home on this website done. My intention is to have an interactive blog, and website. I am getting work done. However, I would feel so much better about accomplishment if I were getting more done on the website.
I caught myself being critical, and I made a decision to stop it right then and there. I am a big fan of Abraham Hicks, Wayne Dyer … they often accompany me on my walks. I further decided to just blog where I am at. It makes much more sense, and feels so much better than spending the time worrying about where I am not.
As Abraham Lincoln once said, “we are as happy as we make up our minds to be.” Living in balance in the 5 pillars of health is simple, maybe not easy. But, reveling in each and every moment. Looking down at my feet at being where they are, it’s a wonderful life.
